Kevin and Diane started DeHaan Livestock in 1990 with a small Registered Angus cattle partnership. Sheep were added in 2000 when we moved and settled in at our current Taylor, Missouri location. We both grew up in northern Illinois and met at the University of Illinois. Growing up we were both involved in livestock and the show life and wanted to raise our children with the same opportunities. Ryan, Trevor, Shannon and Jared were active in 4-H and FFA exhibiting cattle, sheep and market goats, as well as being involved in livestock and meats judging.

Our operation currently consists of 60+ Hamp Cross and White Face Cross ewes. In recent years, ewes from top breeders have been added to improve our genetic base and a vigorous AI/ET program implemented.  Our emphasis is raising market lambs and ewes, black-faced and speckles, that are competitive at all levels for our customers.
